Acceptance of Terms

Use of the website http://waterdamagerestorationcambridge.com/ means you agree to these Terms and Conditions as posted today. If we update these Terms in the future, your continued use of the website means you accept the revised rules.

We encourage you to review this page regularly. By using our website, you confirm you are able to form a binding contract. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of our services and website.

Services

Cambridge Water Damage Pros provides emergency response, mitigation, cleaning, and reconstruction services for property damage. The specific scope of work will be defined in a separate Service Agreement after a detailed onsite assessment.

Our services may include structural drying, mold remediation, and smoke cleanup, using industry standards like IICRC. We may use third party vendors for specialized tasks like plumbing or roofing.

Service availability can vary based on the nature of your project, our current schedule, and the location within Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Quotes, Billing, and Payment

Any verbal or initial written estimate provided is a preliminary quote, not a fixed price. The final invoice will reflect the actual materials used and labor performed, particularly when conditions change. We will require a deposit before starting work on certain projects. All major payment methods are accepted. The client must pay the balance promptly upon completion of work. Unpaid balances will accrue late fees. Any billing disputes must be submitted in writing within ten business days of receiving the final invoice.

Insurance and Claims Assistance

We provide assistance by preparing detailed documentation, photo reports, and necessary paperwork to support your claim. Cambridge Water Damage Pros does not make decisions for your insurance company.

Approval of the claim, payment amounts, and payment timeliness are independent decisions made by your insurer. We cannot guarantee coverage or direct payment from any insurance provider. The property owner remains ultimately responsible for all billed amounts until paid in full.

Scheduling, Access, and Site Conditions

The client must grant our team safe and continuous access to the property during agreed-upon work hours. This includes ensuring utilities like water and electricity are functioning for necessary equipment.

The client must disclose any known hazardous conditions, like asbestos or existing mold, immediately. Work may be paused if safety risks arise, if unauthorized persons or minors enter the work area, or if aggressive pets are present.

Health and Safety

Our technicians are trained to high IICRC standards and prioritize health and safety. This includes mandatory use of PPE, setting up proper containment, and using specialized equipment like negative air machines where required. We use EPA-registered disinfectants when appropriate. We fully comply with all applicable safety and health regulations in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The client must follow all safety instructions provided by our site supervisor.

Customer Responsibilities

The client must remove and secure all personal valuables and sensitive items from the work area before our team begins.

The client is responsible for immediately notifying us of any preexisting structural issues or hidden damage discovered before or during the project. You must strictly follow all post-mitigation safety guidelines and instructions, including keeping equipment like air movers running for proper drying.

Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide a limited workmanship warranty covering the quality of the labor we perform for a set period. This warranty does not cover preexisting damage, normal wear and tear, or latent conditions that were not visible during the initial assessment.

We are not liable for failures caused by acts of nature, ongoing site neglect, or poor workmanship by third party vendors hired directly by the client. No guarantee is made regarding the complete elimination of microscopic mold spores.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the liability of Cambridge Water Damage Pros for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for that specific service.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost income, inconvenience, or damage to contents not covered in the scope of work.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide notice to cancel or reschedule service appointments as soon as possible. Emergency water and fire services are treated differently than planned work like mold remediation.

Cancellation of contracted non-emergency services without sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover administrative and preparation costs already incurred.
